Sala Danang Beach Hotel Location
I stayed at Sala Danang Beach Hotel for a few days and found the hotel’s location really convenient. Located in the Son Tra area, it only took me a few minutes to walk to My Khe beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in Asia. Compared to the bustling My An area in the South, this place is quieter, very suitable if you want to relax but still have easy access.
From Da Nang International Airport, it only took me about 15 minutes to get to the hotel. I often book Grab to travel; it is both convenient and reasonably priced. If you go in a group or have a lot of luggage, I recommend booking an airport shuttle service through Klook in advance; someone will pick you up at your door, making it less tiring.
During my stay, it was very easy to travel to visit famous places around Da Nang. I tried GrabCar to go to the Guanyin Statue on Son Tra Peninsula, explore Ngu Hanh Son, and book a half-day tour to My Son Sanctuary. From here, it is also very convenient to arrange a day trip to Hoi An; you can go by Grab or book a package tour to save time.
If you are looking for a hotel by the sea, with a beautiful and convenient location, I think Sala Danang Beach is worth considering. I often check room prices on Agoda or Booking.com, where there are many promotions, helping to save costs significantly. Rooms at Sala Danang Beach Hotel
I stayed at Sala Danang for a few days and chose the “Partial Sea View Suite”. The room was quite spacious, about 45 square meters, comfortable, not cramped at all. The shower area in the bathroom was also very convenient, modern, and easy to use.
The room price is about 70 USD per night, including breakfast, but of course, the price can change depending on the tourist season. If you want to save more, the hotel also has smaller rooms. For example, the Superior Double Room is about 25 square meters, priced at about 40 USD/night, still including breakfast.
I booked the room through Agoda, and in my experience, this is a convenient and safe way to book a hotel in Asia.
The interesting thing is that the 5 star hotel in Da Nang has two breakfast areas. I only found out when I checked in. The large area is bright, has plenty of seating and a rich menu, while the smaller area is quieter, for guests who choose an upgraded room.
If you are traveling with your family and need a quiet space, you can book a higher-class room, but I was traveling alone, and my experience at Sala Hotel was quite good.
The breakfast at the hotel was really impressive, and all the staff I encountered were very friendly and always willing to help.
If you like high-rise spaces, I recommend choosing a room with a view of the city or the sea. The 25th floor has an infinity pool and a restaurant/lounge area where you can relax and enjoy the view.
When I stayed here, there was a mini supermarket right next to the hotel, which was very convenient for buying drinks or snacks. Just across the street, there was a motorbike rental service, convenient if you want to drive yourself to explore the city.
During my stay, I found the Grab app extremely useful for getting around Da Nang. This is the app I always use when traveling in Vietnam, making getting around much faster and more convenient.
